Supporting Your Core Group
Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:46 AM As the world economy is in transition and almost all of us are going through some tough times, now is the time to really nurture and support our core group of associations with others. Keeping and trying to improve these links are a good use of time, builds on the future, and keeps us occupied instead of thinking how bad things are now.
Think of where you are going, not where you are! For me I am trying to promote and show support for the people and their services who are close to me. Anything I can do to help this main group of family, friends and business associates, even in small ways such as tweeting, promoting web pages, facebook posts, skype and telephone calls to show support for them, helps re-build confidence in the future.
Things will improve and when they do try to be ready for that, and then move ahead stronger than before. This core group is a big part of who we are, where we came from, and, where we are going. Even a telephone call or e-mail with some encouraging words is a start. Our current situation is not good, but with a positive attitude and showing consideration for others who are in the same or worse position as yourself, we at least begin to understand and help bring on change for the better.
